Recurring Elements

Many of the canvases in this series were thrifted or reused. I’m drawn to surfaces that already hold history. Incorporating existing textures, marks, and imagery became one of my favorite puzzles — a way of collaborating with what was already there.

This work embraces its queerness openly. The spectrum is intentional. Visibility, vibrancy, and pride live in every layer.

Florals

Flowers of all types appear throughout the series — repeated, rearranged, and reimagined.

Rainbow Colors

A prideful rainbow of colors is used deliberately. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, white, and pink appear again and again.

Balance

Chaos is a dominant trait of this series. In seeking balance I have leaned into symmetry and pattern.

Handmade Treasures

Stained-glass windows, shiny jewelry, intricate frames, floral arrangements, and cozy textiles populate these worlds. They are simple, homely, feminine, powerful, and grounding; not to be overlooked!

Lonely Creatures

Quiet moments for the quiet neurodivergent introvert. Often alone, not often lonely.

Healing

This series is shaped by what trauma therapy has taught me: accommodations matter, breathwork brings us closer to beauty, and the inner child deserves care.
